At home or Office we have a problem that how to share internet connection from one device i.e. laptop or PC to another device. Using LAN connection or data card you can connect many device with your laptop hotspot. If you want to create wifi hotspot on your Desktop PC then you should have Wi-fi card in your PC.
You can share your laptop internet via Wi-fi to other device like laptops, smartphones, android phones, iphones. you should not need any extenal hardware or Wi-fi Router for creating Hotspot. I share with you how to share your internet connections using free software
Using Free Software available for Windows 7 & 8
mHotspot is a free software. I didn't find any issue with mHotspot. It is a reliable software that creating a Wi-fi hotspot on your laptop. Using mHotspot you can share single internet connection for multiple device. It's work on windows 7 & 8. you can turn your laptop or Desktop PC into Wi-fi hotspot.
Setps to setup your laptop into Wi-fi Hotspot:
1. Download mHotspot and install it in your Windows machine and when installation is complete, restart your computer.
2. After Restarting your computer, connect your computer to the internet. After connected to the internet switch ON your Wi-fi and then run the mHotspot software.
3. You will see here Hotspot Name: anyname and in Password create any password. After creating this you go to Internet Source you will choose here your internet connection from drop down menu that you want to share.
4. In Max. Clients you can increase or decrease clients you can connect upto 10 clients then click on Start Hotspot.
Feature of mHotspot:
Totally Free Software. you can secure your Wi-fi hotspot. See the details of connected devices in client tab. See the Upload, Download Speed in Hotspot tab.
Virtual Router is also a free software for windows to turn your laptop into Wi-fi Hotspot. You can use Virtual router anywhere like Home, Office, Garden and etc.
Setps to setup Virtual Router in your machine:
1. Download Virtual Router and install it in your Windows machine and when installation is complete, restart your computer.
2. After Restarting your computer, connect your computer to the internet. After connected to the internet switch ON your Wi-fi and then run the Virtual Router software.
3. you can create here Network Name (SSID) & Password then you choose your Shared Connection that you want to share. After it click on Start Virtual Router.
4. In the above picture you can see your Virtual Router started successfully and your device is also connected with your laptop.
